Wellness Baths
Baths are an essential component to stress management and the maintenance of optimal health. While we often think of stressors as outside entities ⏤ we underestimate the normal load of stress our body processes create on our system.
Through implementing baths into our wellness routines we can reduce stress levels by allowing the body to excrete waste byproducts through our kidneys, colon, and skin. Baths offer us transdermal benefits as we absorb the minerals in our blends through our skin.
A soak should last a minimum of 30 minutes, the water temperature should be comfortably hot. For best results, start with a hot bath and end with a cool shower as this will offer a well rounded exercise for both the integumentary and lymphatic systems.
